- I don’t see XYZ charity on your list, this charity is huge, why aren’t they on your site?

A1: Two reasons 1- There is unfortunately a lot that goes on behind the scenes at charities, some good, some bad, and some we may never know. At Five Percent Back.org we rely on Charity Navigator.org- They are the watch dog group of the Charity World. If they haven’t given a charity four stars, we have chosen not to donate to them. Again-only four star- highly reputable organizations that may or may not have made the media are the ones that we chose to give.
2- We simply haven’t encountered them. You are more than welcome to submit a request-see below A2: If you know of a charity that could use your help and you would like to let us know about them, please fill out the form below and under “charity” select “other” then input the name of the charity and a little about them and why they're so cool. We will then see to it that they then get your donation. - Who is Five Percent Back.org? And how was it started?

A: The fund is designed, organized, and administered by volunteers out of Hydro Flask World Head Quarters in Bend, Oregon. The idea is simple: Help when and where we can a continuous basis. By telling the world that we care and want to help, we have “put our money where our mouth is”, and couldn’t be happier that we did!
- How can I make a donation?

A: At this time we DO NOT accept any money for any of the charities. In order to donate, product(s) must be purchased through Hydro Flask and the serial number from said product(s) will be submitted to us at Five Percent Back.org. Five percent of the net proceeds will then be donated to your chosen charity from Hydro Flask.
- Can I volunteer?

From time to time we do have volunteer based events and they are posted on our home page and also at our sister site Hydro Flask.com.
